Crystal Weather Station

Forget 2D. 2D is old hat. So 20th Century. And, frankly, a touch flat. Now you can get a more rounded view of your world - well, at least, your weather - with this rather fetching weather station that looks unlike anything you ever encountered in Geography lessons. It takes the view of the weather as enunciated by, say, John Kettley, and propels it screaming and kicking into 2007 and beyond. Instead of a boxy Stevenson Screen hiding a load of mechanical analogue equipment, this sleek modernist block not only tells you the time in bold red numerals, but reveals the forthcoming weather by illuminating beautifully etched 3D icons. The icons actually appear to be lasered into the crystal itself, with detailing so attractive you may well want to cry.
That’s not all. Far from it. For the merest wave of your hand will switch the display between time and temperature and back again. The time itself is fully radio controlled for optimal accuracy, meaning minimal intervention from you, the lucky owner. All you need to do is sit (or lie) back and let the world of space and time revolve around you. Meteorologically marvellous.
