Hop-on launches Hop2001 dual-mode smartphone

Hop-on has launched a Treo-like smartphone, Hop2001. It is based on Windows Mobile 6 version. It supports both GSM and CDMA properties. The dual-mode handset can operate either on AT&T or Verizon Wireless network. Measuring 4.4 x 2.3 x 0.73 inches in dimension, the windows mobile provides Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, UMTS, HSDPA and GPS services. Thus, the use of Hop2001 goes beyond communication. I mean you can also use it for navigation, broadband and entertainment purposes.
The weight of the device is just 6.0 ounces. It comes with a full-color 320×240 touch screen, a 3-Megapixel camera with 10x zoom, 256 MB Flash ROM and 128 MB SRAM. It has a strong battery system, which provides 4 hours of talk time and 8 days stand-by. The Hop2001 is now available in North America, South America, Latin America, Australia and Asia.
