Kidney Stones Information

Kidney Stones Information
Kidney stones are solid masses of mineral salt deposits. These mineral salts are generally filtered through the kidney and emptied via urine.
There is a natural substance in urine that dissolves these minerals. This prevents them from becoming solids or calculi. But at times, because of dehydration, these salts don’t get dissolved and solidify. Their growth becomes large enough to obstruct the renal ducts. Sometimes, they even get stuck in the uterus causing a severe pain in the urinary tract. If left untreated, kidney stones can even lead to renal failure.
