La Jolla Sinkhole
Of course the Union Tribune is all over the La Jolla Sinkhole, but how about Mike Acquirre yesterday:
Moments before a scheduled 10:30 a.m. news conference, City Attorney Mike Aguirre stepped before microphones to declare: “We don’t believe there is an immediate threat to anybody. This is not a new problem for the area.”
That’s at 10:30 AM TODAY. Sink hole at 11:30 am today. Ouch.
