Neha learns to cook up a storm

There is something else, other than films, that keeps Neha Dhupia occupied. “I am improving my culinary skills,” says Neha. “The way to my heart is through my stomach,” she informs. “Apart from cooking, I watch a lot of movies, especially love stories and New Age films, whenever I have the time. Even though I may know what will happen in the end of the film, yet I am on tenterhooks when the climax begins,” adds the former Miss India.
Does this imply that she plans to settle down early in life? Neha replies, “Certainly not now, but definitely in the near future. At the moment, I have got a lot of interesting work to do. If you are implying about someone from the industry the answer is definitely no. Industry men don’t interest me that much. I just can’t discuss work after pack up.”
She adds, “I am not very settled in my head about marriage as yet. There is very little space in my heart as it is filled with love for my parents. I cannot handle good looking guys and I don’t like metrosexual men either. I would definitely like to tell them one thing: Please leave the manicures and pedicures to the ladies.”
Neha is waiting for her next release Utthan, where she play a glamorous model who is out to reveal the truth about the political world. “It is a very sensitive character. Director Ujwal Chatterjee has done a wonderful job. I am also doing Rajat Kapoor’s Mithiya opposite Naseeruddin Shah where I play the role of Naseer’s mistress. I am very apprehensive about this film since I have been pitted against one of the best actors in our country. It will be a challenging role for me,” she says.
Neha has also been signed by director Sanjay Gupta for two new films, Shootout at Lokhandwala opposite Sanjay Dutt and Dus Kahaniyan, which has ten stories. She will be a part of the episode titled “Highway” in Dus Kahaniyan, co-starring Jimmy Sheirgill. “I am also looking forward to Delhi Heights. The film is a love story set in the corporate world and it is directed by Anand Kumar,” says the actress.
