400D or Rebel XTi digital SLR is the younger brother of the EOS 350D Rebel XT. The 400D was announced way back in August 2006 and it has a lot of new features that would make photo enthusiasts want to give it a try themselves.

Some photographers will be delighted to know that there is a larger 2.5 inch LCD screen in the 400D. It also incorporates Canon’s Picture Styles. Because the 400D came after the 30D, many people expected that it would include the same sensor as the 30D. However, Canon made an unexpected move and utilized a brand new 10.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor for the 400D. This makes it Canon’s highest resolution DSLR with an EF-S lens mount.

Some of the bad points for the camera is that the resolution from the 350D isn’t that big. The anti-dust feature isn’t 100% infallible and there is no anti-shake in the standard kit. Another thing regarding this is that the Sony Alpha A100 poses a big threat to this. The camera shows a lot of promise and will most probably continue to be a best-seller for those photographers on a budget.

The Canon 1Ds Mark II is one of the best cameras that Canon has released so far. It is part of the 1D lineup of Canon. There are a lot of new things to look forward to in this version of professional digital cameras of Canon. 

One of the things that one can look forward to the new Canon 1Ds Mark II is now holds an 16.7 megapixel resolution at 4 frames per second. Another thing to consider is that the Canon 1Ds Mark II has a full-frame sized sensor that essentially widens the photographer’s field of view. This is a full-frame camera which is premium for those who are in the know when it comes to photography.

One of the better things about the  is that the shutter cycle is upped from 150,000 to 200,000 making it a durable camera which will last about twice the shooting lifetimes of an amateur photographer and around 4-5 years of even the busiest professional shooter. It is truly a technological marvel that will surely wow the most seasoned of photographers
