Father’s Day

Album : Children Of Eden Soundtrack

Father
Sleeping there like angels
Innocent and simple
I think she’s got my nose
I think he’s got my dimple

In my own image
From my likeness are they sprung
They will keep me company
They will keep me young

That’s what it means to be a Father
Planning their future as you watch your children sleep
That’s what it means to be a Father
I never knew that I could feel a love so deep

Well I will be their teacher and I will be their guide
And anything they’ll ever need I’ll be there to provide
And in return, they’ll love me
Stay forever at my side
That’s what it means to be a Father

For I have built a universe, spectacular and new
And I sat there in my universe and learned that this was true:
What use is a universe with no one to give it to?
Not a hill of beans
‘Til you pass along your genes
That’s what it means to be a Father

Fathers Day Songs

fathers-day-cake4.jpg

We remember how Daddy used to make us sit on their lap and teach us nursery rhymes, for hours at once, patiently singing it out with us and then give us a chocolate every time we used to recite the poem to him. Every time he acted as if he had heard it for the first time and pat our backs and took us for a ride. Many-a-times he has read out bedtime stories to us even though he was so tired that he wouldn’t even want to change his clothes before going to bed. He would not even groan when we would disturb his sleeps just because we have had a silly nightmare.

Being a father is a full-time job and let’s show our appreciation to our loving and kind fathers by setting the mood of the day by playing the right songs. We have some famous fathers day songs suggestions below. We do not intend to infringe on anyone’s copyright and in case, we are accidentally doing so, please let us know, so that we can cut out that song from our list:

Father’s Day Messages

That is the thankless position of the father in the family - the provider for all, and the enemy of all.

- J. August Strindberg

There are often situations and times when we forget to hug our Dads and kiss them and tell them that we love them like we do to our mothers. We assume him to be the provider for the family and all that we want and ponder over the fact that how hard he has to work to get us our daily breads and clothes. We become selfish and all we think about is ourselves. From the time, when we worship our beloved Pops for all that he knew and all that he could, we move on to a rebellious teenage, when we make it a point to argue about everything and anything that he advises to us.

Sometimes, by the time when we realize how much he has sacrificed for us and how often he has stood up against the destiny to protect us from the hard blows of life, it is too late.

Now, is the time to show your Dad that how much you love and respect him and how much you care for him.

MY SPECIAL FRIEND
Daddy is my special friend,
The two of us are buddies.
I always like the things we do,
I’m thankful for my daddy.
Thank You, Dad
Thank you, Dad
Thank you, Dad
Thanks for loving me.
Hugs and kisses, hugs and kisses,
Comes to you from me.
Thank you, Dad
Thank you, Dad
You are such a friend.
On this day I’d like to say,
On you I can depend.
Happy Father’s Day to you
Happy Fathers Day to you
Day to you, day to you
Happy Fathers Day to you
I Love You!!
Hugs and Kisses just for you
Just for you, just for you
Hugs and Kisses just for you
I Love You!!
Father’s Day
Father’s Day Is a very special day.
Here’s a great big hug
And lots of kisses too.
Each one says that I love you!

Happy Happy Father’s Day
Here’s a little song to say “Happy, happy Father’s day!”
No one’s Father is so sweet.
Your kind ways just can’t be beat.
Happy happy Father’s day;
I love you in a big way!

My Daddy Helps Me
My Daddy helps me when I’m sick.
My Daddy helps me when I’m blue.
My Daddy helps me when I’m sad.
Thanks, Dad, for all that you do!
You help, you help, You help me feel so much better.
You help, you help, You help me feel so much better.

Father’s Day Gifts

Jean de La Fontaine once said, “It is impossible to please all the world and one’s father.” Nothing can be more wrong. Dads have been known to instill confidence in their children since generations. They praise the smallest of their achievements, the most basic of their abilities and though they may not express it so often or gush and rush to us to hug and kiss so often like Moms do, we know how they admire us secretly.

It is the power play and stern role that they often have to play in the household, which forces them to control their emotions. This is why, we love it every time we manage to get praise from our Dads because we know that it is sincere and is not biased. Choose the gifts for your dad carefully, keeping in mind his personality and habits and hit the jackpot by getting a smile in return:

Here are some of the ideas that you might use to please your father and show him how much you love and care for him. Read and pick up a gift that suits your father personality.
And in the end, just remember, it is the thought that counts. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY !!!!
Cards - Greeting cards are often the best way to express yourself. Even if you don’t talk much to you Dad, you can use them as a medium to let him know how much you care for him.
Flowers - Send a stylish bouquet for your Dad and discover that the love of flowers is not reserved for women only!
Plants - If your Pa loves gardening, buy him a few plants, gardening tools or a lawnmower to help him out with the work.
Perfumes - Perfumes, aftershave lotions, shaving creams, deodorants and other toiletries would impress Dads who are particular about their personal hygiene.
Sweets - Cakes, pies, cookies and desserts are for those old men who have a sweet tooth and if they are diabetic, do add a warning note not to have too much of them.
Exercise Equipments - Dumbbells and other exercising stuff is for a health and fitness freak or you may also opt for a jogger’s suit.
Cigars - For those who smoke, top-quality cigars and ashtrays are of course the best bet. Be sure to buy only the best ones.
