In a move more “Um, yeah…” than “Oh yeah!”, Citroen has released the sixth teaser image of the car that will, one of these days, be revealed entirely to the world, all at once, front and back. We aren’t even sure if this qualifies as a tease, since getting a glimpse at a front end we’ve already seen doesn’t really ring the bell. What we can say is that one of our commenters appears to be right: the car does look like it’s only 10 inches high.

With all the incompatibility out there surrounded by Guitar Hero / Rock Band instruments, it is a true treat to see somewhat want this. The Director of Publisher Relations at SCEA has requested an update such a promises compatibility between instruments and service for following titles; for instance, Guitar Hero: World Tour’s guitars and drums ought to try amid Rock Band 2 and Konami’s Rock Revolution software, and Rock Band 2’s guitar and drum set is planning to job investing in Guitar Hero: World Tour and providing Rock Revolution. For those native to America, a trip to Japan can be quite a shock. Not only is everything clean … everything is polite. Perhaps its the Japanese insistence to courtesy that dubbed this Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle the “Welcome Box.” This package will embrace you with a 40GB system (colors of choice include: Clear Black, Ceramic White and Satin Silver), rumble-ready DualShock 3 and copy of MGS4. It will be available in Japan on June 12 for ¥49,800 (~$470). The limited edition “Hagane” Grey MGS4 bundle retails for ¥51,800, by comparison.

Between the comprehensive in-game map, the GPS-imbued minimap, and the TomTom-esque functionality of certain vehicles, we’ve yet to misplace ourselves within Liberty City’s digital boroughs. Still, if you find yourself lost whilst playing Grand Theft Auto IV, we guess this Liberty City map application (mapplication?) using the Google Maps interface would come in handy.

A number of user contributions have already been made to the map, showing the location of hidden items, easter eggs, pigeon locations, stunt jumps, and yes, even hookers, whom we assume were fitted with GPS locaters by trained prostitute handlers before being released back into the wild. It makes for a useful cartographical companion for those with a laptop near their console of choice — if you don’t mind ruining the fun of exploring the nooks and crannies of Rockstar’s intricately crafted metropolis for yourself, that is.

If you love racing games, have a PS3 or PC, and have no problem parting with a hefty $349, Fanatec’s wireless steering wheel is right up your alley. Sure you can get a gaming steering wheel for a lot less money, but it won’t come fully equipped with a 6+1 shifter, three working pedals, and an official seal of approval from Porsche. Fanatec spent seven years coming up with a setup that was worthy of the Porsche name, and the end result is pretty damn sweet. The steering wheel is adorned with real leather, it has three feedback motors, a key-shaped 1GB memory stick for storing settings, and both the wheel and pedals are completely free of wires.

There is no question that $349 is probably too much to spend on a gaming wheel, considering a PS3 only costs $399. But if you spend as much time in the virtual world of video games as you do out in the real world, this may be as close as you’ll ever get to driving a Porsche, and it costs a lot less than the real thing.Thanks for the tip, Rick!

Remember when you discovered that you could check out your Xbox 360’s heatsink without voiding the warranty? Yeah, fun times. Now, we’re getting a closer look at the third-generation PlayStation 3 heatsink — and this time, you won’t be required to perform any strange feats of inverted photography in order to take a peek. Furukawa Electric recently showed off the next-gen sink at Techno-Frontier 2008 in Japan, and aside from ditching the copper pipes used in the first two iterations, this one has also split in two in order to cool the Cell and RSX processors separately. Additionally, the latest version sucks down up to 70 fewer watts than the first-gen model, yet manages to still keep your precious console from spontaneously melting. Three cheers for progress, we say.

Yep, the blokes and dames across the pond will be able to snag a special edition PlayStation 3 bundle with Grand Theft Auto IV (and a SIXAXIS wireless controller) bundled in for €439 ($696). Beyond that (and the way cool box), everything else looks to be the standard fare — pick one up if you wish on April 29th.
