We’ve all seen silly trends being perpetuated by high-profile celebs, but this one’s never gonna stick. Zac Efron loves to pull his hair up into a little front-ponytail, and we’ll let you decide if it’s hot or not.

The High School Musical Stud was hooping it up at basketball practice yesterday at the First Presbyterian Church in Hollywood. There are rumors that his next role in the movie “Seventeen” involves him playing a little b-ball, and he’s therefore polishing his court skills in preparation.

And Efron was looking sporty as ever, wearing his Adidas hightops and gym shorts with an AirMax 360 t-shirt.
